My Project

My students are high school students of great diversity and come to me from a low-income, urban area with a large percentage of varying special needs and are beginners to the English language. Each year, 95% of my students qualify for free lunches and are often unable to easily navigate the school environment due to special needs or language barriers. My students have so much to offer, and I would like to offer an enriching literacy experience as well as an inclusive classroom so they have a successful learning environment.
