Basic School Supplies for Kindergarten Kiddos!

My Students

Hola! I have taught bilingual (Spanish) kindergarten in the Chicago Public School system for the past 12 years. The students I teach come from predominantly low-income families and are all English Language Learners. Every year, I am excited to provide my young students with experiences and resources that they otherwise may not come across.

I am passionate about teaching early childhood and love exposing my young students to new experiences, getting them excited and invested in their own learning!

My Project

Many families have been struggling financially since COVID-19 hit and I would love to be able to provide students with some basic school supplies, to use at school (and also a separate set of scissors/glue sticks to keep at home!) Having basic school supplies is something that each student will benefit from, and will help make the transition from home to school more fun!

Given safety and cleanliness guidelines, students won't be sharing supplies, making it even more crucial to have markers, crayons, scissors and glue sticks for each student to keep at their desk.
