This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work at a Title One public school and teach 40, second grade, ELL students who are bright and eager to learn new things. Most students come from very poor economic background, but they come to school everyday with a passion to learn and succeed.

I am requesting basic supplies needed by students in a low income area.

We use dry-erase markers a lot to practice Math concepts on our mini whiteboards, but these markers dry out quickly, and additional supplies will help us a lot. The headphones will be used during technology time, notebooks will be used as journals, laminating pouches will be used for the Math and Science task cards I purchased from TPT, stickers will be used as rewards, and the tissues will be used by our class to maintain a safe and clean learning environment.

This upcoming school year, I want my class to have what they need and just come to school to learn. These supplies will also be a huge help to me, as their teacher. You contribution to this project will be tremendously appreciated.
