My Students

Year after year, I'm blessed and lucky enough to teach and spend my day with the sweetest kiddos alive! I teach in a high-poverty, low socioeconomic community in southern Mississippi. Our teachers are the best and the kiddos are just so awesome.

Each day, my students step off the bus ready and so excited to learn.

In my classroom, I try to make learning as fun as possible, but we do not always have the supplies and materials that we need to succeed.

My Project

This project is all about being ready and prepared to return to in-person learning very soon!

Because of Covid and having to flip-flop back in forth between in-person learning and virtual, our students are most likely going to be at least one-grade level behind.

This upcoming school year is going to the most critical year of my teaching career and I need your help in ensuring that my kiddos have the most successful school year that I can give them! In order to hit the ground running when they return in a few weeks, I need basic school supplies for each of my kiddos and a few classroom essentials.

For this project we are asking for pencils, scissors, crayons, chart paper, sentence strips, and other necessary school supplies. All of these items will help us start the year off right and ready, so please consider a donation to this project.
