This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Basic school supplies have doubled in price over the past few years, and our classroom budget has decreased. I am hoping to supplement our classroom supplies with tape, pencils, quality staplers, and post-its. I'd like a few necessities of band-aids and safe classroom cleaning solutions. I'd also like to add a few fun items like glitter, gems, and do-a-dot art paint. These fun supplies add art and color to our classroom assignments.

Basic school supplies and colorful glitter, gems, and pipe cleaners will help me to start our school year off with a bang!

Now that I have almost completed my first full year in second grade, I can see that we will need a greater quantity of some basic school supplies for the school year. This grant will help me to start off the school year with enough classroom supplies to do our work and have a little fun with our projects.
