My Project

My students enjoy gathering on the rug to hear a good story. Unfortunately, our big book storage easel is very rickety and unsafe.

With a new storage easel, we can safely gather together on the rug and enjoy a good story alongside our friends.

There is no comparison to shared reading time when students can be up close to the literature, discussing what they can easily see and hear. As my students are learning to read on their own, they love to explore the big books on their own. We need to have a sturdy big book holder so that they can explore literature in a safe way.
