Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Teaching as a social studies cluster for grades K-5 is demanding and I need supplies for each class I teach. My students range in grades so I need an abundance of materials.
My students need basic materials like crayons, pencils, markers, color pencils, and a pencil case to keep them organized.
We also need a color printer to help students learn map skills.
I teach diverse groups of students from general education students, dual language students, and students with individual education plans. This school is a Title 1 school which needs basic materials. Parents cannot afford to supply materials.
I am requesting a printer that yields many copies for a low cost of ink so that I can print tons of color copies. It is an affordable price for my pockets when I need to replace the ink.
