This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are 6 and 7-year-olds who love coming to school and learning! They love reading, math, recess, and lunch. They love learning on our carpet during whole group and making anchor charts for different units.
My students all come from low-income households and many are learning English for the first time.
I am requesting pencils and white board markers. These are two things my students use every single day of school. We use whiteboard markers and dry erase boards to work on writing, math and literacy. Pencils are used for every subject in every class. Ticonderoga pencils are the best pencils in the world!
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
