it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Ink and Dry-erase markers are the most used basic supply that we have. We use our markers every single day, especially during math. Ink is a necessity, yes students do a great job at showing their thoughts on the whiteboard, however they need paper and pencil practice for assessments as well. Ink is not provided for us.
Students love to show off their work on their whiteboards and group work!
Already this year, students have learned problem solving as well as finding area and perimeter. They've learned how to compare and order numbers and they've learned how to round numbers to various place values. They've been able to show what they've learned on their whiteboards using the dry-erase markers. Just today we did a show what you know review and they did great at demonstrating all the different concepts. These markers as well as the ink will continue to help us work on what they need for the next grade level.
