My Project
Help me set up a classroom that cares for all my students' needs. So many times last year students would come up and ask me for band-aids, snacks, or period supplies, which I had to tell them to go someplace else around campus to 'try' and find it. I want my classroom to have these supplies because I will be teaching freshmen and they are often lost and it takes a lot of courage to ask for something like a toothbrush.
If a student had access to basic hygiene needs, some Band-Aids, and a few snacks I think their Algebra classroom can be a safe and welcoming place to learn.
