Basic Needs After the Storm

Help me give my students basic clothing items like undergarments and socks after being displaced by a tornado.

My Project

On January 12, 2023, many homes destroyed and a widespread of power outages was just the visible damage of a tornado touching down in our city. The damage is much more severe than what can be shown through pictures. Over 300 of our students district-wide were affected by this disaster. Many were displaced and left without shelter or basic supplies.

Families are still attempting to return to some type of normalcy, but having your life belongings taken from you suddenly is no short disruption to recovery from.

This project will provide students with basic clothing items such as undergarments and socks. These are just the basics that will make my students lives better and allow them to focus in the classroom.
