Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students walk into my classroom every day, eager and full of excitement! They are ready to learn!

My students come from socioeconomic situations where they are sometimes expected not to succeed, but with your help, they can!

Most of my students lack the basic essentials that we sometimes take for granted. As a Title I school located in the inner city of South Florida, we provide more than just an education to our students. We as teachers provide a sense of security to ensure the safety and success of our students.

My Project

At my school, most times my students struggle to have the basic necessities needed to be successful in school. My students come to school every day with so much on their plate and if I can provide the basic necessities such as pencils and binders, it would be one less thing my students have to worry about.

I'm also asking for copy paper, chart paper, and guided reading books to help me help my students to be successful daily.

These items make it easier for me to help them. I thank you in advance for your support in helping me help them.
