My Project

Hello!

Thanks for considering a donation of basic necessities to students experiencing high poverty.

Our school is Title 1, meaning many students live below or at the poverty line and may not have access to minimal needs such as hygiene products, or food. I am seeking small supports to provide students with tampons, pads, snacks, and sanitizing wipes so they can feel healthy, and happy while at school.

The goals for this project are to provide resources to students who may not have access to them outside of school. Having a station set up in my classroom, students can freely take what they need without a spotlight on them.

What makes my students special is that they consistently find ways to thrive given the limited resources they have inside, and outside of school. They depend on each other for support, and as their teacher I too stand by and support them.
