This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are asking for basic hygiene supplies to refill our caring closet. Our caring closet is very popular amongst my students and helps them feel comfortable and ready to learn while in my classroom and at school. We are asking for healthy snacks to keep their stomachs full, mouth care products to keep their breath fresh, and body and feminine care products to keep them fresh and feeling good.

Students are not able to concentrate on school if they are uncomfortable, just like we as adults feel the same, by having these items in the classroom, students feel ready to learn.
