My Students

I teach at a school that has amazing students, a strong administrative staff, and inspirational teachers. I only hope to gain the resources I need to help my students thrive.

I work with students with diverse cultural backgrounds, extreme differences in socioeconomic status, and learning abilities.

My campus is the most diverse high school in the district, where I work with EL students on a daily basis. I have worked with students needing foreign dictionaries from Spanish, Russian, Vietnamese to Arabic. While I do have students that have the luxury of working with private tutors to help them excel in the classroom, I also have those who are on Medicaid and seek our counselors for help in providing school supplies, and depend on government funded meals.

Working in an inclusion classroom, I absolutely adore my ASD children that work so hard and appreciate the resources we can provide them.

My Project

The high school chemistry course is organized into units and each binder will consist of the following: the Unit Overview (including the calendar and unit objectives), Homework Assignments, Guided Notes, Chemistry Lab Instructions (Pre- and Post-Labs), Activities, and Unit Test Review. Students that need extra help and come in for tutorials will utilize the materials and answer keys organized within these binders.

Students thrive on organization and structure and these binders will help organize the materials for the students' course curriculum.

Students will reference their notes on our online learning portal to help guide them to success in their chemistry course.
