Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students need the basics in our math lab classroom. Each year students start off with a new notebook and folder to record their learning and keep their papers in. These items are essential because I can't run my math lab without notebooks and pencils.
Students enjoy having their own space to work.
They personalize their folder and notebook using the crayons and colored pencils. We use crayons and colored pencils throughout the school year while doing math problems, to color code the steps or while learning about fractions to shade in various parts of a whole.
