Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am teaching reading and science to awesome bilingual 4th graders. My students are in a poverty neighborhood, but that doesn't keep them from moving forward in education.

They love to learn, and the challenges that come with learning.

We are in a low income school, and teaching dual language. The difficulties we face is finding resources in both languages. This year we will be making them up ourselves as a class. Which I'm looking forward to doing it with them.

My Project

We are halfway through the school year. We have exhausted some of our basic supplies from this school year.

We are in mayor need of some basic classroom supplies for all students.

Pencils, sharpener and laminating sheets are needed. Copy Paper is in need to get their daily classwork, homework and activities printed on. The pencils for regular daily classroom work, routines. These pencils are very well used and are continually needed. We have some reading and science stations work could be laminated for longer lasting.

These basic classroom supplies would make a great difference to the students in our classroom
