Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Keep students feeling supported through having snacks, tissues, bandages and hand sanitizer. These teenage kids will often eat the free lunch (and breakfast) offered by the school, but as we all probably know, teenagers are like bottomless pits and need all the food that they can get. It can make a big difference to learning and a sense of belonging in school to get the small things like these to make the learning environment more enjoyable for everyone. Small things, like these, really do make an impact on student attendance, achievement, and future outcomes and can make the difference in the lives precious youth. Thank you.
