This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Receiving these baseballs will allow our team to work out during the off-season, train at the park, and work on our craft during after-school practices. Baseballs all too often are warped, lost, and just plain worn down by use. New baseballs are mandatory and necessary at every game. Our season is 16 games long, not including exhibition games during our spring training, in addition to playoffs games. We've been fortunate enough to qualify for, in every year since we began in 2015, in part thanks to kind donors.
So we're reaching out to make sure our students have what they need to be successful this coming season.
