My Students
Currently, I have the pleasure of teaching and learning from 100 high school students. I aim each day to provide a fun learning environment for my students so that they can love and enjoy coming to school. I feel that when I make learning fun they will want to apply those skills learned and use them in the real world.
I teach students who go to a Title I school and over 99% of my students come from low-income families.
They are hard-working eager students who don't have access to many resources including technology and band instruments. My students are zealous learners who enjoy coming to school. Each day I aim to make to build confident lifelong learners. I want the best for my students and strive each day to show them just that.
My Project
These materials will help our baseball players to see a baseball as if a pitcher was throwing to them in a real game. Their timing and swinging will develop. Also, they will develop seeing the ball in their strike zone. Most importantly, this will allow all the kids a chance to work on developing their hitting. Coaches and players will not have to throw the balls and that will save arms. With not having facilities and equipment, these items would help out tremendously. We travel to all our home and away games. So, if the players were blessed with this equipments, it would do wonders for our program.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
