My Project

America's favorite pastime, they give 110%, they overcame adversity, thier is no crying in baseball. We all have our favoirte memories or cliches that we have heard regarding baseball. Many of these same cliches can be applied to the student in not just my classroom but the students in our whole program. So many of the students what I teach do not have a lot going for them, but they do want to improve themselves as much as they can. The students that I work with are in a separate facility, which means they do not go to the typcial school they would if they did not have a disibility. As much as we do not want to admit it, we do not have everything a typical school has, and that includes sports equipment.

Teamwork makes the dreamwork.

We want to encourage all of our students to do the best they can in all areas that they can, including being a part of a team. One way is to teach these amazing kids team sports, but we need some equipment. Our goal is to help provide our kids with baseball gloves in order to help them learn the game and participate in one of the greatest memories that many of the teacher have and that is passing a baseball. WIth your help we may even have a future pro-baller in our midst.
