This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students love learning. I want to make math engaging, and more fun and interesting for every single student! The Base Ten Blocks will greatly help facilitate many activities to keep them engaged in learning. I will be able to use these in whole group instruction, small group instruction and centers. This will keep learning fun and engaging, which is just what these kiddos need to continue learning. Basic addition and subtraction using number lines and showing the concept of place value with the use of base ten blocks are all great resources to help students understand the more abstract concepts in math.
