This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a high school music teacher in an inner-city school, and I teach students from 6th to 12th grade. Most of my students come from a low socioeconomic background. Many of my students tell me that music class is the reason they stay in school. We really need a concert cymbal to play concert style music and marching drum mallets for marching show.

I want to give my students the best musical experience possible, and the addition of concert cymbal and mallets to the inventory will complete the drumline section.
