This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am looking for flexible seating options for my students. Since Covid I have seen an increase in anxiety and fidgety students. Bouncy bands give kids an outlet for excess energy while alleviating anxiety, stress, hyperactivity and boredom.

These fun bands attach to the front legs of students' chairs or to the front legs of the students' desks.

The bouncy bands will help my students focus and be attentive in class. They allow students to move their feet while listening to direct instruction. The bouncy bands ultimately helps students to stay focused on important information being taught while being able to get their wiggles out.

I have also added on some paper towels tissues and water to help my students have some basic supplies in the classroom that they may not otherwise have access to due to it being a title 1 school.
