My Project

Our theatre program is growing a lot this year! Our stage tech class is now offered both semesters and it has more than tripled in size. In order to keep students busy and help them learn useful skills, we need more tools. SOJO Middle School students enjoy participating in Stage Tech and other aspects of theatre and we can build better sets with better tools.

A new band saw and sander will help us build our sets and help students learn how to do woodworking and set building.

Students will be cutting detailed shapes to use in our theatre sets and making sure they are smooth and safe so they don't catch costumes or give actors splinters or cuts. Thanks for supporting our students and our theatre program at SOJO!
