This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As we prepare for another exciting summer band camp, we are reaching out to our community for support in providing essential supplies for our students. Our school, located in a lower-income neighborhood and classified as a Title 1 institution, faces unique challenges in meeting the needs of our students. This year, we are seeking donations to help us supply snacks and reusable water bottles for our dedicated band members during camp. Access to nutritious snacks and hydration is crucial for our students' well-being and ability to focus and perform at their best during long rehearsals in the summer heat. Your contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in ensuring that every student has the energy and resources they need to succeed. Together, let's support our talented musicians and create a positive and nourishing environment for them to thrive in during band camp.
