Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At the end of the school year, we host a semi-formal Band Banquet, an event for students, families, school faculty, and other members of our community to celebrate student success in our band program. We order food from local businesses to serve to all who attend, band staff and the top student leaders have an opportunity to share a speech, there is a band video presented that shows a collaboration of photos and videos of what we've accomplished throughout the year, and at the end there is a leadership team induction ceremony for the upcoming year.

The Band Banquet event is one of our most important events of the year and makes students feel accomplished, welcomed, seen, and rewarded for their hard work.

In order to fully prepare and show up as we normally do for our students, we need your help! We are in need of disposable table cloths in our school colors to promote school spirit, serving utensils for the local food, certificate holders for the awards, and more.
