This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We need to restock items for our students that they use in class everyday. Items such as reeds and strings are something that we need to have on hand so that we can replace them as needed.

Southeast Middle School is a low income, Title I school in Oklahoma City.

So, we greatly appreciate the support that donors provide through Donors Choose. Otherwise, it would be very difficult for our students to compete with other schools in the Oklahoma City Metro. They will be able to use these items to be able to perform their best. It also puts them on equal ground to be able to audition for honor bands and orchestras.
