Banana Sundaes Coming Up!

Help me give my students the supplies we need to make delicious peanut butter banana sundaes!

My Project

We are always looking for new things to try and eat for Fun Food Fridays, and banana sundaes are going to be the new thing on the menu. We have so many frozen bananas that we have been using for smoothies, but peanut butter banana sundaes sound yummy! The bananas will be blended and frozen and taken out when we are ready to eat with caramel and chocolate sauces.

Giving my students ideas on how to use fruits and vegetables that are readily available was the reason I started Fun Food Fridays.

We have sampled all kinds of things from the school garden like kabocha squash, kale, green onions, radishes, sweet potatoes, bananas and so many other things. And the kids are loving it! The ice cream scooper, chocolate and caramel sauces, and chia seeds will make this Fun Food Friday a delicious one!
