Bam! Pow! The Kids Would Love Some Comic Books Now!

Help me give my students the opportunity to create their very own comic books and comic journals. They have such creative ideas - they need a place to get it all down!

FULLY FUNDED! Ms. T's classroom raised $332

My Students

Our neighborhood school is doing great things with our kids! We have a strong sense of community and family and really care for our kids. We're proud to provide choice to students whenever possible in every subject - and this is particularly true in art.

We are now in the second year of our visual arts program and strive to provide a choice-based (TAB) program.

It was so exciting watching the kids grow and learn about new art materials, media and techniques last year, and I'm so excited to continue it this year. They are so excited to come in and explore, experiment and express themselves.

My Project

We have so many students that love to read graphic novels and even more that love and are inspired by superhero and comic movies. Students will benefit so much by having concrete examples of comics and graphic novels, and be able to have materials to actually create their own.

These books and journals will excite the kids already interested in language and art and pull in even more that are need an extra inspiration.

This kind of graphic novel study can help inspire some of our reluctant readers and artists to really bloom. This has potential to inspire so many of our students to really push themselves in new ways and succeed like never before.
