it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
With balls, the love of the outdoors is enhanced. My students enjoy playing with balls but we don't have enough for everyone. There are 20 students and only 3 balls. Play with balls can happen individually, in a dyad, and even as a large group if there are enough to share.
It's important to stay active and healthy.
Children can learn various skills using balls, such as gross and fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. These skills include throwing, catching, rolling, dribbling, kicking, and aiming for a target. Playing with a ball helps children develop their bilateral integration, eye-hand coordination, eye-foot coordination, timing, sequencing, and motor planning skills. Ball skills also prepare children for participation in sports and physical education classes.
My request includes playground balls, basketballs, soccer balls and small balls to catch. Each of these is a different size and shape for students to learn and explore.
