This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With your support, this project will help my students engineer their own float for their own little Macy’s Day Parade. As a class we will read “Balloons over Broadway” and learn about the history of the Thanksgiving Day tradition. Then with the supplies of this project, my students will engineer their own floats to parade around the school. My students will design and develop their own creations for our project. The students will use the balloons, glue, eyes, feathers, sticks, and tissue paper to design floats that they can share with the whole school.
