Help me give my students model magic clay and cardstock paper to make our Jeff Koons (balloon dog) inspired sculptures and backgrounds! Students not only create their sculpture but also create the place (background) for their display!
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Barlow's classroom raised $258

My Project
Students will be able to create their balloon dogs using the model magic clay. It's so easy to use and clean-up! The puffy texture will be perfect for our balloon dogs! We will explore the artist, Jeff Koons and his sculptures.
We will not only create balloon dog sculptures like Jeff Koons, but we will also create a place to display the sculpture using the cardstock paper.
After we make the sculpture, we will make a diorama. After reviewing Jeff Koons sculpture locations, students can create their own setting as a background on the dioramas.
Students learn how to create with clay and paper as well as think deeper about how artists display artwork.
