My Project

Talking about Isaac Newton's Laws is great and all, but how much of a lasting impression can that really leave? Our STEM class is all about hands-on experiences and with your help, this project will allow my students to visualize Newton's Laws in action through the design of balloon powered vehicles!

These materials will help my students build vehicles that will demonstrate Newton's Laws of Motion, while also turning the lesson into a memorable, competitive race!

My students will immerse themselves in the concepts of force and motion and witness firsthand how these rules will govern their vehicle's performance. Through the use of the Engineering Design Process, my students can turn a surface lesson into one that deeply transfers this knowledge in a meaningful way!
