Ball is Life

My students need ball bags to transport to and from school to the park. Pinnies need to be ordered to set up scrimmage games. Benches would help our team and visitors.

My Students

This project would help 7-12 grade boys for our growing and expanding soccer program on the south side. We are a strong academic school with a growing athletic program. 60%+ of the school is on free and reduced lunch, thus a large portion of our school comes from areas of the city that considered "at risk". Chicago Public Schools is in financial hardship. No equipment purchases will be granted. My students are in need of ball bags, pinnies and benches. These items will all help with keeping the organized structure and help maintain money already spent on equipment that our expanding and successful program are in need of.

My Project

With funds being jeopardized, our successful soccer program is in need of a few items that would be extremely beneficial in the long run. This will help our program continue in a structured and organized form. Ball bags will help keep track of our soccer balls. The pennies will help tremendously in doing drills and separating athletes into various teams. The benches will help our facility because we don't have benches for visiting teams. Our student athletes are focused and determined in the classroom and they deserve the same on the athletic field. All donations will help to contribute to keeping students accountable for equipment and increasing our level of organization. This will help multiple grade levels and continue with their success on the field as well as in the classroom.
