Balancing Outdoor Exploration and Play in a TK STEM Way

My Project

I am creating a STEM exploration garden, a special place where 4 to 5-year-old children can unplug from electronic devices, explore, and learn through outdoor play. These little learners were born during the COVID pandemic, so most of them spent their infancy and toddler stages of development secluded indoors, with limited social interactions, and often occupied by television shows or video games. It is now critical for these children to learn about their world through interactive, hands-on learning experiences to thrive.

By providing a large outdoor balance, you will offer sprouting scientists meaningful opportunities to play and experiment with natural objects, compare mass and volume, and experience cause and effect relationships of different physical forces.

Students will have fun as their curious minds explore in very purposeful and memorable ways.

Genius scientist, Albert Einstein, once said, "Play is the highest form of research." Please join me in building a STEM exploration garden, a marvelous outdoor laboratory in which small children with great learning needs can experiment as they play together.
