Balancing Mathematicians

Help me give my students six balance ball seats to help them focus in the classroom.

My Students

I work with struggling math students from kindergarten - sixth grade. Students come to me in small groups and are below grade level with regards to their current math expectations.

Most of the students that I work with lack confidence in their own math ability due to the academic struggles they have experienced in their young lives.

We work with hands-on manipulatives and find strategies that work best for each individual student.

Many of the students that come to my classroom struggle with fidgeting and the ability to focus in a classroom setting.

My Project

Many of the students that I work with in a k-6 setting struggle to focus and are constantly fidgeting in the classroom. The balancing ball seats have been proven to help students maintain focus and with paying attention, as they are able to move around in a controlled fashion.

Many students that come to my classroom are lacking confidence and struggling with math concepts.

The balancing ball seats will help to give them confidence by being able to sit in a unique, positive classroom atmosphere, where they feel like they can be successful in areas that they have always struggled with.
