This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The use of the equations balance will significantly affect my students learning. Balancing math equations, for sixth graders, is a skill that takes a lot of time and effort on both the students' and teachers. With this kit, my hope is that my students will come to understand these problems with much more ease and more concretely.

Hands on learning has always been a great way for students to learn, especially with difficult concepts.

Being able to learn math through tactile learning activities makes all the difference to most students.
