Balanced Learning on Flexible Seating
My students need seating options (balance balls) that are flexible and comfortable in the classroom.
When my students walk in every day, I don't see them as children. I see them as the future. They will lead us one day as I try to lead them now. I teach at a Title I school in Hawaii. This means we are a school where a high percentage of our students receive free or reduced price lunch. But, we don't let that stop us. My 6th-grade class is amazing and can do anything!
My class loves to learn and uses every opportunity to do it.
Many students stay in during recess and after school to learn more about everything and anything. Their passion for learning cannot be extinguished!
My 6th graders have a lot of energy. So much so, they flexible seating may be the key to get them to focus. We are asking for two sets of balance ball seating. Not only are they fun, but these seats can help my students learn.
My students are creating a flexible learning space.
The balance ball seats will help my students stay engaged in our learning throughout the day. New studies report that students learn better when they are physically active and comfortable. With these seats, students will be able to bounce or sit. I want them to feel comfortable in our classroom.
