Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love helping elementary students be active and grow because it sets the stage for a lifetime of health, confidence, and joy. Physical education gives children the chance to develop important skills like balance, coordination, and teamwork—all while having fun. With the use of basketballs and balancing equipment, students will be able to work on these developmental skills that will benefit them for life. The tunnels will allow student explore movement through different levels. It’s incredibly rewarding to watch them try something new, build confidence, and celebrate their progress. Their energy and enthusiasm are contagious, and every small success reminds me why this work matters. Supporting their physical and emotional growth is not just important—it’s a gift I feel lucky to give every day.
