A science classroom can be one of the most exciting places in a school. Providing students with diverse learning opportunities makes the curriculum interesting and more attainable.
We are a charter school and don't have as many funding options as a normal public school might have.
Our students are bright, innovative, and have the desire to succeed. They have the desire to study and observe their world, and then see how they can make a difference. We have students from all different backgrounds who come together to make a great school.
My Project
Hands-on experiments are an important tool in learning science. Being able to use a triple beam balance is an important skill for any science class.
Our triple beam balances are getting old and out of order and our students need two more triple beam balances to replace the ones that have malfunctioned.
Having working balances allowed the students to participate in a great variety of labs. The balances will be used in four different grade levels, and will therefore impact a great many students. We appreciate the generosity of all who donate!
