I have a very loving and active class. My students are excited with high energy. Brining Bal-A-Vis-X to my classroom will increase positive thinking, changing I can't do this, to I can try hard. With Bal-A-Vis-X, my students will have over 200 ball and bean bag activities deeply in rhythm. These rhythmic activities increase self-awareness using balls and simple bean bags. These brain breaks are more than just movement in the classroom, it builds self-confidence in completing ball routines by themselves or in pairs. Each ball routine address visual tracking, auditory imprecision, impulsivity, balance, and issues related to trauma.
Bal-A-Vis-X is not game or a sport, it is strategically rhythmic movement of balls and bean bags to teach students a balance of auditory, vision, and exercise which concentration and self-confidence.
Bal-Vis-X was started in Olympia, WA. Teachers that use Bal-A-Vis-X with there students report more focus and better test scores. Teachers also state that students have had higher positive self talk, changing I can't do this to I will try! Another positive element of Bal-Vis-X is less discipline problems and students showing compassion for others. I would love to bring Bal-A-Vis-X to my classroom. With your generosity my students will have daily access to Bal-A-Vis-X during morning greetings and afternoon closings. Bal-A-VisX will help students remain focused, build self-confidence, and create a positive learning environment.
