Baking Up Creative Stories

Help me give my students blank books to allow them to create their own individual stories and illustrations.

My Project

This project will give my sweet kindergarten students an opportunity to write and illustrate their very own short stories. Throughout the school year, students learn about letters, sounds, words, sentences, nouns, and verbs. This project will allow students to use all of the previous mentioned skills and more.

With these blank hardcover books, the students will be allowed to choose their very own topics.

This will allow each book to be unique.

At the end of the project, the classroom will be transformed into a bakery. The students will dress up as "bakers" and present their stories to their classmates and families.
