Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am the literacy coach at my elementary school. Having durable baggies to carry their books will help our students have immediate access to their books everywhere they go. This will help them develop their long term love for literacy and to become successful readers and thinkers. While we have tried using some baggies, they deteriorated in a very short time. In order to make sure every student reads on a daily basis after school hours, students find their desired books to read in the classroom and take them home. The next day, they can switch the texts for new titles they are eager to read. However, we need sturdy book traveling baggies to successfully carry the books.

Resistant Book Baggies will make a huge difference in our students' reading routines!

Please help our students have immediate access to their books! They will always be able to have their books by their side.
