My Project

When looking at my Physical Education class and the equipment that we have, we have everything but racquet sports. My students are now lacking in the area of racquet sports and this does not allow them to be an overall physically literate individual. By obtaining this equipment, you would be helping my students potentially find a life long activity that they could participate in.

The four sets of badminton equipment that I have requested would allow my classes to have multiple games and activities to be happening at once.

The equipment would be very well taken care of and could be shared with the other PE departments in the district.

Not only would I be able to create a unit for badminton, but I can also use the nets to teach pickleball to my students. I would be able to lower the nets down and create 4 stations for pickleball.

My students ask about the few paddles and racquets we do have at the gym. They are interested in both badminton and pickleball so I know that they would be so grateful for this equipment to have in our Physical Education class.
