This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am in a unique position. I am currently teaching an upper grade but I am going back down to primary next year. I want to get something that I will be able to use this year but also next year. That is where the badminton sets come in. I have enough for half my class now but I would love for it to be a total class activity. This is an activity the students love and I know the primary students will also enjoy it next year.

I would also love to have the make-your-own jump rope kit to start out the year.

My current class loved it when I did it with them. It is such a great activity to get to know the students and we get the benefits of them for the whole year.

Finally, who doesn't love the smell of new crayons? Nothing says welcome to school like a brand-new box of crayons!
