it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are seeking to purchase locker locks and badminton rackets for our junior high physical education (PE) program. These items are essential to enhance student safety, organization, and engagement in physical activities. Our goal is to promote a healthy lifestyle, teamwork, and sportsmanship among students.
There is great importance of physical education in fostering physical fitness, mental health, and social skills among our students.
Our junior high program serves approximately 400 students, providing them with opportunities to engage in a variety of sports and physical activities.
Currently, our students face challenges with inadequate storage for personal belongings during PE classes, leading to concerns about lost items. Additionally, our badminton equipment is outdated and insufficient for the number of students we serve, limiting participation and engagement in this enjoyable sport. This grant will address these issues, allowing for a safer and more inclusive PE environment.
With the funding from this grant, we expect:
Increased student participation in PE activities.
Improved organization and safety for students.
Enhanced enjoyment and skills development in badminton.
Investing in locker locks and badminton rackets will significantly impact our junior high students’ physical education experience. We appreciate your consideration of our request and your commitment to supporting youth physical education.
