Backyard PE Games

Help me give my students the opportunity to explore lifelong recreational games for our backyard games unit. Spikeball and Cornhole are a popular form for backyard activities.

My Project

Students will learn skills for backyard games that will support their social learning. Our backyard games unit gets them outside to play some of the most popular games at friends and family get-togethers. By introducing in PE, our goal is to give students the confidence to interact with others in a game environment where fun meets competition.

Our students will benefit from learning games that are less athletic than traditional sports units.

Students who are less inclined to participate in athletic games will enjoy the less competitive nature of backyard-style games.
