This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These backpacks are going to children whose families are unable to afford school supplies. Many of these students are also from food-insecure families.

By providing the children with a backpack (and hopefully filled with other needed school supplies), we begin to help these children become organized, and start the school year off with a positive note.

Where they are set up for their classes by having the necessary tools they will need for their future academic success.

With your help, we can give these children a positive learning experience. Thank you for your assistance!
