My Students
This year is an exciting and nervous time for students. I am a special education teacher and want to give the students at my school something to look forward to since they have been out of school so long.
My school serves students from kindergarten through eighth grade.
I teach Learning Support to Kindergarten through fifth grade. We are a Title I school and all our students are eligible to receive free lunch. The students in this school are hardworking and eager to learn.
Our school is full of students ready to get back to learning and we want to celebrate them and their efforts!
My Project
Our students all received chrome books due to our hybrid learning model. This year we thankfully returned to in person learning. Unfortunately, we have many students that have had to quarantine and we eventually closed for 10 days of virtual learning. We just returned to school this week and many of our students have no backpacks to bring their chrome books to and from school. Many are now broken and we have none left.
Our school is a Title 1 school and many of our students do not have backpacks.
If it were not for the hybrid and virtual setting they would not have chrome books. I want to make sure they have a way to keep them safe.
